The Nova-7 Proto Mk.4 (commonly referred to as the Proto Blueprint) is an exclusive, secret animated weapon blueprint for the Dravec 45 SMG in Call of Duty: Warzone. Released during the Season 2 update on the snowy “Winter Rebirth Island” map variant, this hidden reward is unlocked by completing a multi-step Easter egg quest.
The blueprint features a unique, moving aesthetic where green Nova-7 gas visibly flows inside the weapon’s translucent magazine and grip. To claim the blueprint, you must navigate a series of puzzles that lead deep beneath the Prison into the old Gulag.
Thaw the First Bunker: Land near the docks by Stronghold at the bottom of the map. Grab a Molotov or Thermite and throw it at the frozen red button to melt the ice and open the bunker door. Inside, pick up the Computer SSD from the back-left corner.
Retrieve the Keypad Code: Drive to the new POI (Point of Interest) by the water. Use another Molotov to open the bunker door there. Insert the SSD into the computer terminal to reveal a unique numerical code.
The Gulag Showers Sequence: Go to the old Gulag showers located beneath the Prison block. Locate the keypad door and input your code using a binary toggle sequence (where ‘0’ means leave the button alone and ‘1’ means toggle it). A successful entry opens a secret stairwell leading further downstairs.
The Final Switch Puzzle: You will enter a room with seven keypads and a desk with seven corresponding paper notes. Read the notes in order; they will randomly tell you to “engage” or “disengage” each specific switch. Interact with the touchpads exactly as instructed within the time limit.
Collect the Weapon: Once the puzzle is solved, a glass container on the wall will open. Wait for the glass door to fully open before grabbing the gun. Picking it up too quickly can glitch the game, preventing your team from receiving the permanent unlock notification.
