Simplify Live Scoring with Meridix EventReporter (often managed through the Meridix LiveID Manager or the Meridix Live Broadcaster App) is a tool designed to let amateur sports organizations, schools, and local broadcasters inject real-time scores, game clocks, and statistics directly into their live streams. Acquired by Stack Sports, the Meridix ecosystem eliminates the need for expensive broadcast hardware or complex graphic overlay setups. Key Capabilities & Features
Browser-Based Management: Scores can be updated from any secondary device (smartphone, tablet, or laptop) while the main broadcast is running.
Sport-Specific Interfaces: The system generates unique viewer overlays tailored to specific sports, natively integrating game clocks, periods, and specialized statistics.
Instant Fan Sync: Changes submitted in the backend dashboard reflect instantly on the viewer’s screen, synchronizing the data with the live stream feed.
Live Gametracker Integration: Broadcasters can enable a standalone text-based gametracker for fans who only have enough bandwidth to follow live score data instead of the video feed.
Broadcast Integration: Seamlessly syncs data overlays with popular streaming software including vMix and Open Broadcaster Software (OBS). How the Live Scoring Process Works
Schedule the Event: The user sets up the game’s date and time inside the admin panel to generate a unique Event ID.
Access the Live Event Manager: Once the event goes live, the scorekeeper logs in from a secondary mobile device or computer to avoid interrupting the camera operator.
Point-and-Click Updates: To change a score, the user simply clicks on the score field (which highlights in green), types the new number, and clicks away to automatically submit.
Finalize and Archive: When the game concludes, the scorekeeper marks the period field as “Final” and selects “Archive Event” to permanently save the game video alongside its scoring history.
Are you looking to set up live scoring for a specific sport, or do you need help integrating these overlays into software like OBS or vMix?
